The inspiration of this restaurant design is based off of the concept of the Amalfi Coast located in the province of Salerno. The large structures in Amalfi form a mountain along the sea coast overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. The structures can be seen from any reference point along the shore as the buildings get taller progressing towards the shoreline.

The design draws inspiration from the beautiful sights, structure, geological hierarchy and colourful contrasts of the Amalfi Coast, all the way to Rome. The sea-coloured tiles pour out onto the patio to mimic the waves of the sea.

With private dining available, Amalfi offers a two storey dining experience with a lower level dining area complete with a bar and an upper level mezzanine. The white wave patterns on the walls bring memories of the Amalfi coast as well as the upper level archways and turquoise fabrics used throughout the restaurant.

The restaurant is constructed within an existing building on a corner lot on the streets of Rome. The corner lot allows for a fantastic patio experience where diners may enjoy their meals and drinks outdoors while other people pass by as they walk the streets of Rome.

The menu at Amalfi offers the finest wines that Italy has to offer as well as a large variety of foreign wines for the diners to enjoy with their meals. The food menu is created with the freshest and highest quality locally sourced ingredients and the seafood is caught fresh from the sea.

Located on the street side of a cobblestone walkway that is close by to the St. Peter's Basilica, the intersection allows diners to come from every direction.

The Amalfi Restaurant is accessible with an elevator, ADA washrooms and wide aisles to accommodate for wheelchair access.
AMALFI AT SUNSET
The restaurant is located where traffic flows heavily with tourists and locals. Amalfi is centrally located to catch the attention of passersby on foot, car and on bicycle.
