The Pink Hammer Trades Training Centre for Women is a safe and effective learning environment for women involved in the skilled trades of carpentry, electrical and plumbing.

The concept of the design is womanhood. The central workshop represents unity where the main learning occurs, meanwhile, outside of the central hub is where gatherings and social interactions take place.

The facility consists of a two level construction workshop to learn theoretical and perform practical training in a real-life trades working environment. The lower level workshop consists of construction equipment and machinery.

The training facility has many places for students to relax and socialize with their peers. The upper level has a large open concept collaborative area and a lounge is located on the lower level.

There is an on-campus café to enjoy healthy snacks and meals with accessible seating available and a counseling office to provide social and psychological services to increase mental health wellness.

The on-site daycare Centre accommodates students with small children while they partake in their studies. The daycare consists of a play area, separate kitchen and washrooms, a sleep/reading area and an outdoor playground with private entrances.
The Pink Hammer Trades Training Centre for Women is located in downtown Toronto and is easily accessible by TTC, bicycle, walking and driving. A large parking lot is located behind the building with bicycle lock up stations located alongside the building.
